This report presents a study on water quality and toxicology of the Piceance basin. This is based upon a field reconnaissance of the area and a review of literature and information available from federal, state, and local agencies. Furthermore, this report contains the principal investigator's conclusion ad recommendations regarding conditions, trends, and potential vulnerability of the ecosystem to changes in water quality and levels of toxic materials in the study area.
